Maybe because of its bad reputation or for whatever reason Bangladesh does not get many visitors each year, which is a shame because it’s a great place to visit.
Bangladesh is extremely cheap and the people are very friendly. You can travel Bangladesh for $15-$20 a day.
You can stay at a hotel for as little as $5-$9. Lunch and dinner are extremely cheap from $2-$6. Snacks and street food are even cheaper.
From Beaches to Forests and National Parks, there’s an abundance of things to do in Bangladesh.
You can go to Cox’s Bazaar Beach, Saint Martin Island. Go to the calm and quiet Sundarbans Forest. Go to Lawchara National Park. You will not be bored here.
7. Thailand
You can’t have a list of cheap destinations without mentioning Thailand. The misconceptions are endless I’m Thailand, from the country is the food is too spicy and it’s poor and dangerous. The truth is Thailand is a beautiful country with delicious food.
Traveling and backpacking around Thailand is so cheap, which is why it gets so many tourists each year. If you get off the beaten path, that’s a great way to save money and experience more of what Thailand has to offer.
You can get around Thailand for $25-$30 a day. Chiang Mai and Pai in Northeran Thailand are less expensive than the Islands and Bangkok.
Go on trekking tours and night markets in Chiang Mai. Krabi Town is great for backpackers looking for a cheap nights stay.
Hike the Jungles of Pai and stay in the cheapest place in Thailand Koh Samui. Spend days at its magical Forests, Beaches and Lagoons.
